The Coat Closet & Dresstravaganza

We are especially excited to announce our newest Gap Ministry, The Coat Closet! We were so blessed to “inherit” a roomful of coats from Love INC of the Treasure Valley. They generously donated coats to Love INC Boise and we are very thankful! But, with the donation of all these coats, we were challenged to find a church to host the Coat Closet. Praise God, The Journey, our newest partner church, has agreed to house this Gap Ministry!

And …along with this closet, The Journey is also hosting a another Love INC Gap Ministry. It’s called “Dresstravaganza” – what a cool name for an extravaganza of prom dresses. After the holidays the schools in the area will turn their attention to PROM!

Sara Highlighting Scripture in Donated Bibles!

Praise God for the Summit Church! They donated boxes and boxes of New Testament Bibles to Love INC Boise. Thank you for helping us share The Word to a hurting community. Volunteers are busily highlighting scripture in each Bible! We will then make these Bibles freely available to our clients at each of our Gap Ministries

Praise God for Grace Anglican Church who consistently collects product for our Gap ministries. They single-handedly keep Soap ‘n Suds supplied with toilet paper!

Praise God for The Boise Church of Christ who donates office space to Love INC Boise. Almost every Monday morning is like Christmas for us as we find bags of donations left in front of our wareroom door!

Almost every week someone from one of our partner churches walks in with donated product in hand for our various Gap Ministries. Thanks to the folks at Calvary Baptist Church, Cloverdale United Reformed Church, Cornerstone Community Church, Epworth Chapel on the Green, Parkview Bible Fellowship, Southside Christian Center  and the many others who give of their time, talents and treasures to help those in need.

“Loved … Sew Much”  is a year ’round ministry that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home, or fellowship with a group of ladies while you sew or knit. If you would like to join this ministry or need more information, please contact Cathi at (208) 377-3502.

We pray that by opening our hearts to those in need, and sharing the fruits our  labors … beautiful handcrafted tote and gift bags, blankets. and pillowcases … that they would be touched by our love, our lives and the gospel of God.

We are always looking for new ideas, new crafts and projects that might meet the need of a person in need.
