Darlene and her husband Bernie volunteer at Love INC Boise every week and are a blessing to us! They were also instrumental in the success of our Christmas “Basket of Blessings” Ministry.  Darlene headed up our sewing ministry and she and her volunteers made over 70 potholders for our client families! Darlene and Bernie also help deliver the baskets and were so touched by the experience that Darlene wrote the following:

“When we told a family we hoped the basket would be some help, they told us ‘every little bit helps’ . They thanked us and told us that they were going to put the basket away until Christmas day. Then he said, ‘You know a quarter is not worth anything until you don’t have one’ . What an impact that quote has made in our lives. The families were so greatful and when we saw their needs we realized how blessed we truly are. We’re glad to be a part of Love INC and to be used to spread God’s love through this ministry.

PS: Next year, everyone should deliver baskets to families in need before you do your shopping. You’ll have a new outlook on how blessed you are and the real meaning of Christmas!”

Thanks to Cadette Girl Scout Troop 86 for donating two huge bags of kids and teen clothing for our Gap Ministries! Fun was had by all in a recent tour of our Love INC office. The girls have offered to work on a few service projects for us! Thank you girls!
